Tales of Legend
With the large amount of intermingling between the plains elves and humans, it’s not a surprise that a considerable part of the Kelchon Kingdom is comprised of half-elves. Half-elves share the same amount of privilege and political power as full-blooded plains elves in the plains elf kingdom. However, to forest elves, half-elves are something of an abomination and an example of the “rotting and corrupted world.” In forest elf territory, half-elves are treated worse than even plains elves with entire groups of forest elves completely ignoring half-elves. Half-elves living in human society tend to be treated as full elves. In fact, the average human wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the two.
Half-elves don’t make up any political unit of their own, even within plains elf or human society. They don’t own any sovereign land and don’t share a strong unique racial or cultural identity, choosing to adopt the culture of their host.
